Mission Statement
God's Dogs Rescue consists of a GROWING group of dedicated rescuers, living in a city/state that euthanizes dogs/puppies/cats and kittens daily. Thousands and thousands of dogs (and kitties) rescued in the last 29 years, and thousands more to go.... Our goal is to save as many dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, as we humanly can. We transport adopted dogs and puppies all over the country as well. Cats and kittens are adoptable in Texas only. Many of our dog are living in almost every state in the nation, as well as Alaska AND in Canada!!! #Rescueon..............................
About This Cause
Grassroots rescue organization that was started by an female Army Nurse Corps Officer in 1995. In Texas we have THE highest euthanasia rates in the country (2020). Second highest in the country in 2019. We have a LONG way to go... Many rescuers have come and gone in the last twenty nine years, but as a retired Major, a veteran, RN AND a woman- I KNOW the meaning of persistence and fighting hard, even when the odds are stacked against you. Our rescued doggy lives' are worth it. We have saved and transported over 30,000 dogs/puppies in the last 10 years, and expect to keep going strong with our FIVE transport vehicles!! 2024- We have a NEW VET CLINIC!!! Saving money with our own vet clinic helps us save MORE dogs and kitties!!! We save the healthy and happy, as well as the sickest/ badly injured animals, therefore we always have big vet bills, big food bills, all other kinds of bills, BUT the dogs/puppies are SO WORTH IT!
