Our mission is to imagine new social and political possibilities through performance. We do this through our annual series of contemporary performances from around the world.
About This Cause
We are a producer and presenter of contemporary performance from around the world based in Portland, Oregon. Working at the intersection of arts and social justice, our mission is "to imagine new social and political possibilities through performance". We believe that performance can be a space to engage in difficult dialogues and can be a catalyst for social change. We support diverse artists from the U.S. and around the world making work that challenges us to imagine a better future. Through cultural exchange we build empathy and understanding between different cultures and countries to build a more diverse, equitable, and peaceful world.
