Mission Statement
The Human Utility's mission is to preserve human dignity and health and to protect the human right to water by making water more affordable for all families in the United States through crowdfunding, community-building, and policy action. We believe that water should be affordable for every family regardless of its financial position and in a country as wealthy as the United States, this is completely within the realm of the possible.
About This Cause
Our goal is to make water affordable for the estimated 14,000,000 elderly and/or families with low income in the United States who struggle to afford their water bills. We intend to do this by assisting at least 250,000 families in the United States with their water bills by 2025. When people donate, their donation helps pay the water bills of people in Michigan and Maryland at the moment.
