Mission Statement
Black Cats & Old Dogs Animal Rescues rescues the animals that are most often overlooked in shelters.
About This Cause
BCOD takes in the animals that are often refused by other rescues. This includes animals with terminal illnesses, heart worms, that have behavioral issues, or that have costly injuries/ ailments. We also take in older animals and animals that are seen as less adoptable because of their breed or color. BCOD was started in 2015 by Arianne Burley when she was tired of seeing animals be euthanized at shelters due to their age, color, and/ or breed.
