Mission Statement
WHAT WE BELIEVE We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. – 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13 We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. – Isaiah 43:10, Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19 We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. – Genesis 1:27, Romans 5:12 We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. – John 1:1, John 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6 We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. – Acts 2:21, John 3:19, 1 John 1:9 We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues. – Hebrews 2:4, Romans 1:11, Romans 12 :4-8, Ephesians 4:16 We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’. – 1 John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17 We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live. – Hebrews 13:21, 2 Peter 1:3, Ephesians 6:17 We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively. – Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 10:16, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. – Matthew 5:3, Matthew 6:20, Matthew 19:21, Matthew 25:34, John 17:24 We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised. – Matthew 24:30, Matthew 26:63-64, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
About This Cause
Impact started in 2015 by Pastors Zenzo and Michelle Matoga in Medford, MA. As a young family in the area God laid it on Pastor Zenzo’s heart to start a ministry that was dedicated to families like theirs. They wanted to help build strong marriages in the kingdom. The church has grown rapidly in the years since.
