To Build a Non-Monetary Community of Support. Timebanking builds a community of support between individuals, families and neighborhoods. Exchanging services, talents and skills is a means of building a social network, reduce isolation and build sustainable communities in a modern, urban society. About This Cause The purpose of the West Seattle Timebank is to connect residents, non-profits and service providers in the West Seattle, White Center and Burien community to each other to create opportunities for people to participate in volunteer service exchanges which benefit themselves, each other and the community.
