Mission Statement
The Coalition builds public will and community investment in innovative policies, programs and practices so that girls, especially those facing extreme hardship, have the support and opportunities they deserve.
About This Cause
We believe girls and young women impacted by violence and poverty can achieve long-term economic and health security while becoming a force for change in their communities. We recently won a federal National Girls Innovation Award to aid our efforts to: • Create a Statewide Policy Platform to Address System Reform, Economic Opportunity & Violence • Pilot Training & Quality Standards for Courts • Grow Our Membership Training support, for instance, would equip people who work with girls to hold safe space during trauma assessments, one-on-one and group sessions, pivotal experience to changing the road ahead for girls. With your help, the Coalition can take a big step forward to innovate and scale policies, programs and practices for the next generation of girls.
