Mission Statement
Red Hook Dog Rescue , Inc rescues animals, mostly dogs from local high kill shelters but also from individuals. RHDR does whatever is necessary to make sure rescued animals are rehabilitated in whatever ways are needed to insure they never never ever end up in a shelter or on the street again. This could mean simple grooming, bathing, , addressing all medical and/or dental. We provide training or behavioral modification using force free methods. We are there for the animals at all times..forever (even after adoption) It is thrilling for us to match the right pet with the right family. and that is what we do!
About This Cause
A 501c3 Rescue groups which focuses on taking dogs (and some cats) from local high kill shelters. We provide medical care and rehabilitation, including training. Our hearts are with animals that only see or hear with their hearts and to that end we do take many special needs dogs. They inspire us and we know they inspire others.
