Mission Statement
The purposes for which M.A.I.S.C. has been organized are as follows: to disseminate the teachings of humanity’s great wisdom traditions, with special emphasis on those autochthonous civilization of the Americas through means such as publications, workshops, conferences, study groups, and cultural events.
About This Cause
To collaborate with other individuals and organizations with similar purposes. To promote cooperation among members of various cultural traditions. To do any other act or thing coincidental to or connected with the foregoing purposes or in advancement thereof, but not for the pecuniary benefit of its members, directors, or officers except as permitted under Article 5 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the foregoing purposes or in the advancement thereof, but not for the pecuniary profit or financial gain of its members, directors, or officers.
