HUMAN TRAFFICKING INSTITUTE

Washington, District of Columbia, 20002 United States

Mission Statement

The Human Trafficking Institute exists to decimate modern slavery at its source by empowering police and prosecutors to stop traffickers. Working inside criminal justice systems, HTI provides the embedded experts, world-class training, investigative resources, and evidence-based research necessary to free victims.

About This Cause

The HUMAN TRAFFICKING INSTITUTE works to stop trafficking at its source: traffickers. HTI combats trafficking by empowering justice systems to stop traffickers. When justice systems have the tools and training to effectively arrest traffickers, victims are freed from exploitation. Each trafficker stopped sends a message to other traffickers that their crime is not worth the risk, preventing them from exploiting more victims. HTI provides experts to train and equip investigators, prosecutors, judges, and social workers around the world to protect survivors, prosecute traffickers, and prevent trafficking from happening in the first place. We’ve already seen 355 traffickers arrested and 504 victims protected this year alone, and we need your help to win the fight against trafficking. Join us today at justicepartner.org.
