Mission Statement
To provide mental healthcare counseling and support services for mother's and families in need during pregnancy, the postpartum period and during parenthood that help to bring them success in childbirth, familial relationships and family life.
About This Cause
We offer specialized treatment and support for maternal mental health disorders. Our highly-trained team includes Masters level therapists and certified peer perinatal coaches who walk alongside women and their families as they transition from pregnancy, postpartum and into parenting. Our vision is to improve mental health care and the well- being for mother's and families that enables them to experience healthy, happy and productive lives. At WHI of Arizona, we treat women and families as a team. Perinatal Mood or Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are never an isolated problem to be dealt with as an individual. We believe in a collaborative approach involving the entire family. Our treatment may include individual and couples counseling, support groups, therapy groups psychiatry, and more. We offer services in our Gilbert office in addition to free bi-lingual programming at Hope Women's Center in Phoenix and Apache Junction. We also provide a free therapy group in collaboration with Dignity Healthcare. We believe collaboration is essential for providing best care to moms and families.
