Mission Statement
Adventures with Mr. Math is a not-for-profit after-school math program for elementary and middle school students. We believe that great many children are born with a talent for math, but that talent is crushed by the minutia of mathematical techniques. And so, generation after generation, kids grow up into math-fearing adults. We help kids explore the incredible world of math and discover that math is an exciting adventure!
About This Cause
Adventures with Mr. Math is a not-for-profit after-school math program for elementary and middle school students. Our program has taken hundreds of students on an exciting adventure into the wonderful world of math, full of fun discoveries, and capped with numerous contest awards. We teach the kids how to use analytical reasoning skills to solve difficult mathematical problems and puzzles. Kids learn many mysteries of math and discover the role it plays in the Universe. Through games and math contests — where we participate as a team and support each other’s efforts — we help kids fall in love with math! Our students also greatly enjoy winning numerous math contest prizes and awards for extra credit work.
