Mission Statement
The Washington DC Table Tennis Academy is dedicated to using table tennis as a means to improve our community as a whole, from young to old. Our youth programs are created to help at risk and underprivileged children develop in a sport that is low risk and high reward. Our senior and neurodivergence programs are designed to help assist our seniors live longer and healthy lives by actively fighting cognitive decline. We aim to improve the lives of those living with all forms of neurodivergence and help our community to achieve better brain health at all stages of life. .
About This Cause
We offer table tennis training in after school and summer camp settings for at risk and underprivileged youth. Children are guided step by step by professional coaches who assist them in learning techniques and skills to have fun and compete in table tennis. We also provide table tennis therapy for people with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and all other sorts of neurodivergence. These programs are custom designed through communication with health professionals and our professional coaches to create specific therapeutic programs for our community. Our programs are after school, summer camp, seniors and Neurodivergence.
