Mission Statement
Sai Seva Sadan is a new non-profit organization in the Greater Sacramento Region that focuses on Service, Adoration and Illumination. We operate under the single principle of universality of all religions and consider service to the community as paramount. For example, we recently donated 108 backpacks filled with school supplies to Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack project. In addition, beginning in September 2016, we will be providing sandwiches to Next Move, a homeless shelter in Sacramento every week. We are totally a volunteer driven organization.
About This Cause
Sai Seva Sadan is driven to achieve the following goals: • To promote selfless service for the benefit of all creation. • To provide a medium for spreading the message of Love, Peace, and Harmony among all creation. • To conduct educational programs (e.g., linguistics, art, spiritual, and cultural education) for children, youth and adults in and around the community. • To facilitate other group activities and services for the benefit of the community in general. Activities and services will include, but not be limited to, yoga classes, blood donation camps, medical and legal counseling through volunteers and/or other organizations. • To inculcate cultural heritage within the children, young adults, and adults, by teaching of music, and encourage them to participate in creative craft/dramatic activities, and volunteering in their community. • To organize charitable events in, but not limited to the local community. • To promote and foster amongst all people a spirit of goodwill, understanding, and selfless service towards all living creation.
