About This Cause
Edina Give and Go is a non-profit organization that removes financial barriers to participation in arts, athletics and academic opportunities for students. Roughly 20% of Edina Public Schools students qualify for free and reduced meals and many more hover just above that threshold. Edina Give and Go collaborates with Edina schools, social workers, teachers, and parents to create awareness of poverty in our community and to provide resources to address the opportunity gap this creates for students. Edina Give and Go provides resources and financial support for Edina students in academics, arts and athletics. We GIVE all Edina students the opportunity to GO far in our community and in life by helping to narrow the opportunity gap.
