Changing communities one rhythm at a time. World Rhythm academy produces cross-generational music and arts events in underserved, diverse communities.
About This Cause
We are raising funds to train young adults in musical performance, technical production, and management within diverse, underserved communities worldwide. World Rhythm Interns are mentored by world-renowned jazz drummer Ronnie Burrage and a team of other seasoned professionals. Each intern travels with the performers and assists with management, logistics, and music technology. The interns also have many opportunities to perform original music by Ronnie alongside his bands and orchestra. Our ultimate vision is to give these interns international global leadership opportunities.
