Mission Statement
Who is Arlington Archery Club. In 2015, the Arlington ISD launched our district-wide archery program for high school students. Archery is hosted at the Arlington ISD Archery Center for all archers in the district. Our competitive team is made up of archers from all 6 high schools, Arlington, Bowie, Lamar, Martin, Sam Houston and Seguin High Schools. We are affiliated with the the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and enjoy great success as Texas State Champions for the last 5 years. Nationally we rank in the top 10% consistently during the last 6 years. The Archery teams motto is Live at Full Draw. In line with this motto the purpose of the Booster Club is to enrich the program and the students with improving the facilities and providing a warm and welcoming space for the students and their families to practice and compete. Every tournament we chose a local charity to support. This school year we have donated to Arlington Women’s Shelter, Mission Arlington Food Bank and most recently Toys for Tots. During the Christmas season the Booster Club themselves rang the bell for the Salvation Army as another way of giving back to our community. So in supporting us with your generous donations you are investing in the Youth of Arlington and contributing to the diverse opportunities available to all students in the Arlington school district.
About This Cause
We are currently in the planning stages of our yearly awards banquet in April, to recognize the students’ academic and archery achievements. Throughout the evening we have raffle prizes for the students from local businesses. We would like to offer you an opportunity to help support our students and program while promoting your business. We are soliciting donations in the form of gift cards, gift baskets, etc. and welcome any amount or item.
