Mission Statement

The Nagi Foundations mission is to restore the sacredness of our Native American community by uniting people and animals. We do this by providing a variety of animal services, educational programs, behavioral health support, and family resources that coincide with traditional values and core principles of our First Nation communities.

About This Cause

Supporting Native American Communities by providing animal health services and support and offering educational programs and behavioral health resources for Tribal members of all ages. The Nagi Foundation offers high volume spay/neuter clinics, vaccines, wellness and emergency care as well as Heartworm testing / prevention, tick borne disease testing / prevention / treatment, microchipping, disease screening / prevention / treatment, and a wide variety of other animal medical services. In addition the Nagi Foundation offers animal placement, pet food pantry and animal ordinance consulting on Tribal Land. As a part of the Nagi Foundation mission animal behavior and training consulting and training consulting is also provided to improve the human-animal relationship for the individual, the family and the overall enrichment and safety of the Community. The Nagi Foundation is building the first of its kind on Tribal Land - Animal Enrichment and Community Center. Never before has a campus this comprehensive been built on Tribal Land. This 12 acre facility will offer our three main programs: 1. Animal Shelter with a strong emphasis on animal assisted behavioral health programs for the people of the Community; 2. full service Veterinarian clinic; and 3. Equine therapy. This facility will be partnered with the top Universities to provide a formal academic education for Tribal Community members who wish to pursue professional Veterinarian, and behavioral health education and career at this campus. Also provided will be vocational and on the job training as well as career development in animal, welfare, husbandry, and facility maintenance.
