About This Cause
Paint the World (PTW) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to inspiring creative expression in individuals, organizations and communities by providing collaborative artistic experiences that enable participants to spontaneaously engage their creative minds. PTW does this by installing large semi-permanent blank canvas and paint set-ups that encourage walk-by, collaborative art. When a canvas is secured, and left for 12-48 hours, approx. 60-100 participants contribute to it, and the resulting pieces are cohesive, symbolic, and always tell a visual story of the community that gathered to create them.
