Mission Statement
The Love Pit is a 501c3 foster-based, non-profit dog rescue in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Our Mission is to reduce the homeless pit bull population through rescue, rehabilitation, and training. Below are just some of the many dogs that we have had the honor of rescuing.
About This Cause
We focus on rescuing pit bulls and bully breeds from Texas shelters and giving them a second chance through rehabilitation, training, education and advocacy. We strive to educate the public about dogs that fall victim to breed-specific legislation, discrimination and cruelty, and we promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, training resources and more.
