About This Cause
The Greater Wichita YMCA is a 501(c)(3), and has been since it was founded 130 years ago. The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that promote healthy lifestyles, strong families, and positive youth development to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, regardless of ability to pay. We live our mission every day and you can see this through the people that enter our doors and in our programs in the greater Wichita area. We are able to serve everyone because of donors that give to our Strong Community Campaign.
