Mission Statement
Africa New Life exists to break the cycle of poverty in Rwanda by providing education, spiritual insight and basic necessities to poor children and families.
About This Cause
Africa New Life Ministries sponsors more than 11,000 students in 11 communities in Rwanda, Africa. Sponsorship provides these children an education by paying school fees, providing a uniform, shoes, health insurance and a monthly day-camp where they are mentored and provided spiritual guidance. Our goal is for every child to graduate high school and go on to vocational training or university. Additionally we realize many children do not get regular meals at home and come to school hungry. In the three public schools we operate Africa New Life Ministries provides daily meals to all children, regardless of race, gender, religion, or sponsorship status. We see this as an act of compassion not a religious activity. We raise funds outside the sponsorship program to purchase and prepare the meals.
