Mission Statement
Uplift Community Alliance (formerly Assistance League of Salt Lake City) is a nonprofit organization whose volunteers serve to improve the lives of children and adults in our community through service-oriented philanthropic programs.
About This Cause
Uplift Community Alliance (formerly Assistance League of Salt Lake City) sponsors 9 programs including: providing new clothing to over 5,000 school children each year, providing urgent dental treatment to children with no access to dental care, providing essential clothing, blankets and care items for newborns in need, providing clothing and toiletry items to give comfort to victims of sexual assault, providing clothing, personal supplies, hair care and shoes to men and women re-entering the workforce or school, providing books to Head Start school libraries, entertain seniors in assisted living, nursing , rehab and Alzheimer's care centers, scholarships to local colleges and universities, and addressing emerging needs not covered by our other programs.
