Rooted in the Mission neighborhood, and focused on San Francisco, MEDA’s mission is to strengthen low- and moderate-income Latino families by promoting economic equity and social justice through asset building and community development.
About This Cause
MEDA seeks to strengthen low and moderate income Latino families by promoting economic equity and social justice through asset building and community development. MEDA has an innovative approach to carry out its mission by providing free services to the community in the form of business development, financial capability training, tax preparation, workforce development, public policy advocacy and the development of both a community loan fund and a robust community real estate program to address the need for affordable housing in the San Francisco region.
