About This Cause
Established in 1954 as the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, since 2010, the organization has been known as Handbell Musicians of America. Handbell Musicians of America has grown into a vibrant organization since its founding year, and continues its mission of advancing the musical art of handbell/handchime ringing through education, community, and communication. We work to create a diverse community in which handbell musicians of every skill level realize their full potential through a musically respected art form. Our membership includes handbell directors, ensembles, soloists, composers, arrangers, educators, and industry representatives.
