Mission Statement
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington, DC (RMHCDC) eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. RMHC DC is the catalyst to create a world where children have access to quality health care and their families are able to better comfort and support them while actively participating in their care. We continually work to improve and expand our core programs, while also developing new services to address the unique needs of the communities we serve. We don’t do it alone. We rely on you – our donors, volunteers, staff and friends.
About This Cause
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington D.C., a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation is dedicated to improving children's access to quality health care through our programs. Our core programs include: our Ronald McDonald Houses (1 in DC and 1 in Northern Virginia); two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms (at Children's National and the Inova Children’s Hospital), and our KIDS Mobile Medical Clinic/Ronald McDonald Care Mobile that provides on-the-spot free medical care for thousands of underserved children yearly. Our programs offer help and hope where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC DC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives in many ways.
