International Student Conferences was founded to promote peace by furthering mutual understanding, friendship and trust through international student interchange.

About This Cause

The International Student Conferences, Inc. (ISC) is a non-profit organization incorporated in Washington, DC. It facilitates academic and cultural exchange programs organized by university students in the U.S., Japan, Korea, and China: the Korea-America Student Conference (KASC), the Japan-America Student Conference (JASC), and the China-America Student Conference (ChASC) Beginning in 1934, JASC is the first and oldest exchange between the two countries that is conceived and carried out by university students. Patterned after the JASC model of a student-run Conference, the first KASC launched in 2008. In addition to JASC and KASC, ISC holds programs throughout the year that focuses on opportunities for student leaders and alumni to discuss US-Asia and US-Japan-ROK trilateral relations.
