Mission Statement
Originally opened in 1925, Barcroft Elementary School has had longer continuous service to the community as an elementary facility than any other public school in Arlington. We are a neighborhood school located in Arlington, VA, a suburb of Washington, DC. We are a Title I School with a high percent of students receiving free/reduced lunch and many students who are also learning the English Language. The Barcroft PTA aims to build bridges among our diverse community, provide high-quality education and enrichment experiences for all, and to link our families and staff into a supportive and high performing community of life-long learners.
