About This Cause
Rebuilding Together Montgomery Country provides free critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to the county's most vulnerable, low-income homeowners, including seniors, veterans and people with disabilities. Our goal is to provide critical home repairs and modifications to enable low-income, vulnerable homeowners to remain in their homes in a safe and healthy environment for years to come. We provide both small and large scale repairs ranging from minor plumbing repairs and the installation of hand rails and grab bars to addressing major plumbing and electrical problems, leaky roofs, as well as HVAC repairs. The impact of this work goes well beyond the individual homeowner; it helps prevent homelessness, preserve affordable housing, and revitalize entire communities.
