About This Cause
Programs - We aim to create programs that caters to our members with attention to their unique demographics needs with a few to building a thriving community with no one left behind. Our program include; ■ ICARE – Islamic Couples Annual Retreat (Couples Retreat) - fostering a healthy marital relationship to avoid avoiding divorce and other marital discords ■ YASR – Young Adult Summer Retreat (Youth Empowerment program). Ages 18-39 ■ Platform ( All-inclusive family/community conference) ■ Entrepreneurship Competition. Our annual budget is $20,000 to promote Entrepreneurship among the youth. Ideas are solicited, and selected ideas are supported financially and mentored. ■ ASPIRE. This is a $100,000 leadership training program of NCNMO. It is a Leadership Academy where the youth go through a curriculum in citizenship, critical thinking, global economy, financial literacy, diversity & inclusion, communication and presentation skills, volunteerism, etc. It’s a yearlong program running from January to December.
