About This Cause
Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School is a private Catholic high school located in Wichita, Kansas with a coed student body of approximately 900 students. During the 2017-18 school year, we celebrated our 130th year of Catholic education. Throughout this year, more than in most, we contemplate our rich history and acknowledge those who have come before us at All Hallows Academy, Mount Carmel Academy, Chaplain Kapaun Memorial, and, of course, Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School. We are blessed with the legacy they have left for us, and in their honor, we celebrate our then, our now, and our always. Our school has existed and indeed thrived for so long because of our steadfast belief in imparting Catholic values in an environment that fosters students’ spiritual growth, intellectual curiosity and social maturity. We animate this belief through our mission to be dedicated to the education and formation of the total person in the image of Jesus Christ. The result is a tradition of excellence that is exemplified in our classrooms and on the courts, fields, tracks, stages and debate rooms, where our students perform and compete. Then as our students leave these hallowed halls, they become the leaders within their industries.
