About This Cause
Easterseals DC MD VA’s mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Our vision as the region's leading provider of intensive inter-generational human services is to address the holistic and evolving needs of individuals and families to maximize their independence, inclusion and contributions to society. Easterseals provides community-based services in these core areas: support for veterans, active duty military, wounded warriors, and their families; family caregiver respite services; early intervention/education; and medical day services for adults and seniors with disabilities or special needs. Easterseals programs are designed to improve the quality of life of individuals of all ages and abilities and to strengthen the community by helping families thrive.
