Mission Statement
B’nai B’rith is an international Jewish organization committed to the security and continuity of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, defending human rights, combating anti-Semitism, bigotry and ignorance, and providing service to the community on the broadest principles of humanity. Its mission is to unite persons of the Jewish faith and to enhance Jewish identity through strengthening Jewish family life and the education and training of youth, broad-based services for the benefit of senior citizens, and advocacy and action on behalf of Jews throughout the world.
About This Cause
B’nai B’rith has taken upon itself the responsibility of uniting persons of the Jewish faith in the work of promoting their highest interests and those of humanity, of supporting the State of Israel and the Jewish people, and subscribes to the Zionist Movement’s ‘Jerusalem Program’ which outlines the most basic tenets of Zionism. B’nai B’rith strives to develop and elevate of developing and elevating the mental and moral character of the people of our faith, of inculcating the purest principles of philanthropy, honor and patriotism, of supporting science and art, of alleviating the wants of the poor and needy, of rendering humanitarian assistance to victims of natural disasters and other forms of devastation, of visiting and caring for the sick, of coming to the rescue of victims of persecution, and of providing for, protecting and assisting the aged, the widow and the orphan on the broadest principles of humanity.
