About This Cause
The Charleston Ballet provides West Virginia with a professional ballet company that offers artistic productions designed to both entertain and educate the community while enabling its dancers to develop artistic excellence. As one of the 10 oldest ballet companies in the United States and the Official WV State Ballet, we offer educational programming for WV students, opportunities for low-income families to attend performances and study dance through BALLET FOR ALL, and many collaborative events with other local arts organizations. The Charleston Ballet has a reputation for artistic integrity and strong social conscience.
