Mission Statement
Woman's Choice is a Christian ministry whose mission is to defend life by supporting women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy through free pregnancy tests, counseling, and material support; to challenge our community to adopt a wholesome view of sexuality; to teach and uphold the sanctity of human life, to bring healing to those whose lives have been traumatized by abortion, and to use education to build stronger families in our community.
About This Cause
Woman's Choice was founded in 1977 through the corporate effort of the local Catholic community. Our base of support is now non-denominational and has expanded to include a broad spectrum of Christian individuals. We are affiliated with Heartbeat International and the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), both of which are national crisis pregnancy center networks, as well as America's Crisis Pregnancy Helpline. Our free, confidential services include pregnancy testing, information on the procedures, risks, and effects of abortion, education on early fetal development, and abstinence counseling and parenting classes. We offer clothing, baby items, a support program, and referrals for housing, medical care, and adoption agencies. We also put women in touch with available community support services.
