Mission Statement
Eliada’s mission is Helping Children Succeed. We provide a cradle to career continuum of services for over 600 children and youth annually. In partnership with families, we meet basic needs and provide positive child and youth development programming to all ages. We also have high level intervention and prevention services for children and adolescents that focus on social and emotional well-being, life skills development, career readiness, and trauma informed treatment. Eliada maintains a 5-Star Child Development Center, NC Prekindergarten programs, 21st Century after school programs in three local elementary schools, a day treatment program for youth struggling in the public school system, foster care services, mental health services, and workforce development programming for youth aging out of foster care.
About This Cause

Program descriptions: Residential Treatment programs * serve 12-17 years old • Have mental health issues • Interested in youth development opportunities, cooking literacy, life skill development Family Foster Care & Therapeutic Foster Care • Serve 60 youth annually • 0-22 years old • Experienced trauma in the home Day Treatment • Served 37 youth annually • 6-12 years old • Struggling in a traditional school setting due to mental health issues • Interested in hand-on learning opportunities ESTA, Eliada Students Training for Advancement • Serve 30 youth annually • 16-21 years old • Barriers to employment including foster care and juvenile justice involvement • Interested in career exploration and living wage employment opportunities, cooking literacy, life skill development Child Development (child care, pre-k, afterschool, summer camp) • Serve 392 annually • 0-12 years • Low income local families, youth struggling with academics, children with developmental delays • Interested in engaging learning opportunities, more opportunities for outdoor play, nutrition literacy
