About This Cause
Population Services International (PSI) is a global health nonprofit organization that has implemented social marketing programs for more than 50 years and in nearly 50 countries. Its mission is to make it easier for people to lead healthier lives and plan the families they desire by marketing affordable products and services in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); malaria; family planning (FP) and reproductive health (RH); HIV; and tuberculosis. The mission of PSI is to measurably improve health through social marketing of family planning and health products and services, and health communications. Social marketing engages private sector resources and uses private sector techniques to encourage healthy behavior and make markets work for all.
