About This Cause
Coastal Horizons is the largest private, non-profit human service organization in southeastern North Carolina. With over 600 employees, we serve over half the counties in North Carolina. Nationally accredited by CARF, Coastal Horizons provides a broad range of evidence-based professional services. These include substance use, mental health, crisis intervention, family preservation, transitional living, school-based health, primary care, justice, and veteran services. From addressing the needs of an adult dealing with opioid dependence, a counselor responding to a sexual assault call at the hospital, a child in need of safe shelter and/or psychiatric services, to providing care management to an individual recently released from incarceration, Coastal Horizons is uniquely equipped to ensure public health stability.
