About This Cause
Founded in 1973 as Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (ACME), we've helped thousands of couples build strong, vital, mutually-satisfying relationships. We educate couples by providing communication and conflict management skills through our written resources, programs, and events. We organize Couple Growth Groups (small groups of peer couples) to offer ongoing support. We train couples to lead retreats, classes, and workshops. We have created the Close Companions Online Relationship Academy (http://courses.closecompanions.org). As one couple from Georgia states,“Better Marriages has fed the soul of our marriage! The Close Companions Online Relationship Academy has several courses that go right to the heart of our relationship and help us communicate in positive, constructive ways.
