Mission Statement
In Time Of Need Incorporated is a Tax Exempt (501 c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for at-risk youth of the Atlanta area(s) to spend time that would otherwise be wasted. We will uphold the highest of standards and be a positive, influencing force in the lives of these young men and women through education, life skills, and sports. We will be honorable in all of our intentions and will make decisions with integrity. We will never forget our goal….to have a positive impact on the disadvantaged youth of today in order to make the world a better world tomorrow by inspiring them to achieve.
About This Cause
For the past 26 years, In Time of Need Incorporated has been working to improve communities. 85 cents of every dollar goes towards programs and our daily operations. We are fighting against Homelessness. We are fighting against Hunger. We are fighting to ensure that more first-generation minority students go to college. We are determined to get back to the basics of parenting. Our organization mentor's at-risk youth, and act as advocates for these youth. We have therapist that have volunteer to counsel those in the program that need this. Over the past 26 years we have helped minority youth obtained over $400,000,000 in college scholarships, all of these students went to college for FREE. This is very important to us, because 99 percent of our participants come from families that could never afford to pay for college. We feel if we can simply bridge the gap between our participants attending college, we can one day change the world. We have our eyes set on building a community center, which not sponsor this and put your companies name on this facility. Every holiday our organization feeds thousands of families. We do not believe in putting cameras in faces so that we can get more donations. We have found out over the years that many people have too much pride to be put in front the camera when they are down. Yes, we understand that's how many organizations get BILLIONS of dollars, but we offer public privacy for those that we feed.
