Mission Statement
Our mission is to nurture children’s innate ability to learn by challenging them academically, creatively and innovatively, while immersing them in the Italian language and making them keenly aware of the world around them and their place in it.
About This Cause
The core of our philosophy is the belief that children are smart, competent and the protagonists of the learning process. We believe that children learn through meaningful experiences and exploration of the world around them. We also believe that it is through relationships and interactions with adults and with their peers that their learning deepens. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, nurtured and understood, and our staff strives to meet the needs of the group as well as the needs of the individual child. The teacher’s role is to support and facilitate development and learning, to provide the provocations that lead to discovery and understanding. Our aim is to develop the whole student: physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
