Mission Statement

MISSION Our mission is to lift-up Nepalese people living with disabilities and those that are disadvantaged so they can achieve their full potential. VISION We envision Nepal as a society that fosters dignity and hope for disadvantaged people and people living with disabilities, by providing them with the support they need to become productive, independent citizens. CORE BELIEF We believe that all people left behind in life deserve a chance to achieve their dreams. TRIFC brings much-needed resources and hope to disadvantaged people and people living with disabilities in Nepal.

About This Cause

The Rose International Fund for Children (TRIFC) was founded in 2006 by the Rob Rose family of Bellevue, Washington through their travels and involvement with Rotary International. Its aim is to address critical needs of people with disabilities in Nepal. It started modestly with a student sponsorship program and orthopedic surgery funding. With an active board of directors and an increasing number of volunteers, TRIFC has grown slowly and thoughtfully, developing and implementing new programs to support individuals and groups with disabilities. Partnerships and collaboration has allowed TRIFC to leverage its work to a greater degree each year. Most recently TRIFC helped create a sister NGO in Nepal, Ability Development Society of Nepal (ADSON), with its own board, executive director, partnerships and programs. TRIFC remains a critical partner, advisor, and funder in their expanding work. 'Lifting Those Left Behind', TRIFC continues to work on projects helping people with disabilities with education, medical support and empowerment programs.
