Our mission is to provide hope, safety, and opportunity to young women in order to instill self-worth and self-sufficiency. We value the right of every young woman to obtain the education, skills, and support needed to have a healthy start to life - for both today and tomorrow.
About This Cause
For more than 125 years, Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina has been providing a safe haven and comprehensive care to pregnant and parenting young women, and girls in foster care. In addition to meeting the basic needs for food and shelter, our Residential Program offers support for young women to stay in school, uninterrupted by pregnancy or placement in foster care. We provide medical care, counseling, life skills training, career development, and social support for young women to thrive. In addition, our Family Support Services program provides homeless young mothers with rental assistance and career development services to help them build the foundation for their family's self-sufficiency.
