About This Cause
The Fort Mill Band has a long legacy of achievement, earning its 24th state championship in marching band on October 25, 2014. The Wind Symphony has consistently earned superior ratings at state concert festival and was selected as a Featured Ensemble at the 2014 Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis. The Fort Mill Band has performed at Pearl Harbor three times (1998, 2002, 2007) and represented South Carolina in the 2013 St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin. In addition, the Fort Mill Band performed in the 1986 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York and the 1995 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.
