Mission Statement
The purpose of House of Hope is to serve and glorify God through a Christ-centered outreach of love and compassion that responds to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of homeless men, women and their children without regard to their race, color, or social standing.
About This Cause
We serve those struggling with homelessness in Pee Dee Region of South Carolina with two shelters. Our community shelter is for men, women and children for overnight shelter with food and clothing. Guests can stay for up to 30 days, getting help from our social workers and other staff to transition into long term housing. Our men's shelter is for the long term (up to a year) recovery from addictions and other issues that brought them to us. They are given all the opportunities to gain recovery, job training, and financial skills. When they graduate they have a job, savings, transportation and the skills to be a part of the community.
