About This Cause

About WRRF, Inc. Western Region Robotics Forum, Inc. (WRRF) was formed in 2003 as a California Nonprofit Corporation with IRS 501(c)(3) status. WRRF’s goal is to contribute in a meaningful way to the improvement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education for K-16 students in the United States. Each fall we organize a robotics event, called CalGames. It is an off-season FIRST Robotics Competition event, for the benefit of local Bay Area FRC teams, enabling them to recruit and inspire new members, mentors, and sponsors. Also 1-2 times per year, we organize a day long workshop conference, with presenters and exhibitors aimed at FRC (high school) and other FIRST program for middle- and high-school students, mentors, and volunteers. To do these major activities, we need volunteers and sponsors. Let us know if you are interested by writing BOD@WRRF.org (this will forward to the Board of Directors for WRRF).
