Mission Statement

Founded in 1980, the Scottish Rite Foundation was established to share our light with Georgia’s children. The Foundation supports Scholarships for deserving Georgia undergraduate students and funds our RiteCare speech and language disability clinics for children. This is the way Scottish Rite Masons send out our rays of light into our local communities.

About This Cause

Our Story: https://www.gascottishrite.org/our-story/ RiteCare Program Our mission is to ensure that all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential and shine brightly in their communities. In the early 1950s, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States initiated a unique program to help children with speech and language disorders and learning disabilities. Today, our Georgia clinics are staffed by speech-language pathologists and clinicians trained to help kids overcome steep communication barriers that put them behind their peers in education. These services are provided at a low cost to families through the generous donations of our Masonic brothers and supporters. Scholarship Program Our mission is to assist the future leaders of the nation to obtain an education so they may reinvest and pay it forward in their communities. Since 1980, The Scottish Rite Foundation of Georgia has awarded more than $2.4 million in scholarships to deserving students. We share our light with them so they will share it with others. Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,000 each for full-time students. Ways We Shine $2.4 million donated to deserving scholars. 1400 children served across the state annually by RiteCare clinics. To date, $2.4 million donated to deserving scholars and our RiteCare clinics serve approximately 1,400 children in Georgia with language disabilities each year through our Foundation.
