Mission Statement
To aid, assist, investigate, and counsel families, adults and children regarding problems relating to child abuse, neglect, and deprivation within the State of North Carolina; also to participate, so far as circumstances may warrant, in any activity designed and carried on to promote the general welfare of the community, so long as such activity is related to the specialized field for which the Corporation was established.
About This Cause
The Parenting PATH (Positive Actions, Thriving Homes) works to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect by strengthening families, enhancing parent/child relationships and creating safer more stable communities. Services offered provide evidence based programs ranging from in-home visitation, respite care, group sessions and supervised visitation, to parent education and counseling. The Parenting PATH serves 10 counties in Northwest North Carolina with offices in Forsyth and Surry counties.
