Mission Statement
Hospice of the Piedmont is a not-for-profit provider of palliative (comfort) care and support services for patients, their families and caregivers, mainly in the home, but also in nursing facilities, hospitals, and our own 18-bed Hospice Home at High Point. Patients ranging in age from infants to the elderly who are facing a life-limiting illness are given specialized medical, emotional, and spiritual care through our programs. In addition, we provide grief support to families and others in the community who have experienced a loss. The organization serves the four counties of the Triad - Guilford, Forsyth, Davidson, and Randolph - from it's High Point location.

Patients ranging in age from infants to the elderly who are facing a life-limiting illness are given specialized medical, emotional, and spiritual care through our programs. In addition, we provide grief support to families and others in the community who have experienced a loss. Hospice offers a continuum of care through five programs: Hospice Care, Piedmont Palliative Care Services, Kids Path, Hospice Home at High Point and the Grief Counseling Center. Since its founding in 1981, thousands of patients have been cared for by our team of professionals and volunteers, and we have earned an outstanding reputation for professional expertise in end-of-life care.
