Mission Statement
Based on the Baptist Memorial Health Care mission of Healing, Preaching and Teaching, Baptist Foundation supports Baptist Memorial Health Care in providing excellent care to patients in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. We partner together to advance patient care, address current health issues, help those most in need and mold new generations of health care professionals. Building on a 103-year tradition of providing award-winning care for patients from birth to the end of life, our passion is to raise funds and awareness for projects and services that encourage healthy behaviors and provide excellent health care for each of our patients and families. Our Christian mission motivates our compassion, and strengthens our ability to reach above and beyond, and to truly transform what it means to be a heath care provider. There will always be a student in need of scholarship money. A patient praying for a financial blessing. An out-of-town heart transplant patient who needs a hotel room. And thanks to our wonderful donors, there will always be a Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation to help them.
About This Cause
The Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation is funded by donor gifts, and we use 100% of those gifts for their intended purpose. Our funds help us provide grief support, financial assistance for patients of all ages, health care for the homeless community, scholarships for students training as health care professionals and many other needs in the communities we serve. We facilitate all donations for BMHCC which includes (but not limited to: Baptist Cancer Center, Baptist Centers for Good Grief (Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief, Collierville, TN; Milla's House, Memphis, TN; NEA Baptist Center for Good Grief, Jonesboro, AR); Baptist Heart Institute; Baptist Reynolds Hospice House; Pediatric Services (Patient Assistance, NICU, Children's Hospital); Baptist Operation Outreach (assisting our homeless population); Palliative Care; Pastoral Care; Baptist Employee Assistance; Patient Assistance; Baptist Women's Health Center
